We are sad to announce that, on February 22, 2026 we had to say goodbye to Helen Persson of Cedar Rapids, Iowa. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Theodore Frederick and Jessie Oulman; her husband Ernest Persson of Valentine's Day; her grandson Brett; and her sisters, Mary, Vera and Bessie.

She is survived by: her sister Virginia Westover of Michigan; her daughters, Jane Griffey (David), Lois Henderson (Ronald) and Kathyrn Schreiner; her grandchildren, James, Robin and Shane; her great grandchildren, Carly, Alexis, Sydney, Madyson, Jade, River and Athen; and her great great grandchildren, Isaiah, Everly, Titus, Blakley and Brett.

In memory of Helen, the family kindly requests that memorial donations be directed to Hospice of Mercy or Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in lieu of flowers.
