He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey Beresford and Evelyn Beresford (Ulrich); his stepmother Rosemary Beresford; his siblings, Robert, Wendell, Charles Beresford, Carolyn Beresford, Beverly Helbing, Hazel Schuettpelz and Kathryn Bradley; his stepsister Pat; and his siblings-in-law, Carole Beresford, Mary Beresford, Leonard Helbing and Robert Bradley.
He is survived by: his wife Jane M. Cress; his daughter Julie L. Bushman of Cedar Rapids; his grandchildren, Joey, Jenna, Jade and Jacob Bushman; his siblings-in-law, Erwin Schuettpelz of Marion and Joetta Klendworth (Bruce) of Troy Mills; and his friends, Leon and Joyce Soukup of Central City. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
