He was predeceased by: his parents, Horace Maynard and Dorothy Maynard (Hillmer); his wife Esther Caballero; and his siblings, Rick Maynard, Jean Fairhurst and Alice Winburn.
He is survived by: his children, Mary Ann Maynard, Rebecca Maynard, Elizabeth Maynard Hoffman (Lawrence) and Charles Maynard; and his granddaughters, Jessica Pollett (Billy) and Jane Susnik.
