He was predeceased by: his parents, Jerry Stufflebeam and Laura Stufflebeam (Brecht); his sisters, Bonnie Martin and Karen Persons; and his siblings-in-law, Tom Phelps, Bill Martin, Bob Persons, Barry Spalding, Tom Finn, Kay Finn and Candy Adams.
He is survived by: his former spouse Roxiene Renae Adams; his wife Julie M. Roher (Spalding) of Cedar Rapids; his children, Renae Forsyth-Christy (Joe Christy) of Marion, Herbert Jr. Stufflebeam (Karen) of Marion, Dr. Darrel Stufflebeam (Jenny) of Basehor and Paige Majeski (Matt) of Urbana, Iowa; his stepchildren, Christopher Roher of Cedar Rapids, Lori Fitzpatrick of Cokato, Daniel Roher (Kelly) of Monticello and Andrea Koranda (Brett) of Cedar Rapids; and his sister Rosemary Cimijotti (Ray) of Chatfield, Minnesota. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren.
