He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Elmer Hanson and Frances Hanson (Brown) of Virginia; his wife Connie; his stepgranddaughter Makayla Burgmaier; and his brother Dennis Hanson.
He is survived by: his children, Tammy Burgmaier (Glenn) of Creston and Heath Hanson (Nichole) of Creston; his grandchildren, Heidi Hudson of Creston, Cody Hudson (Sarah) of Norwalk and Holden Hanson of Creston; his stepgrandson Dakota Burgmaier (Cheyenne); his great grandchildren, Haylee, Hunter, Hayden Brown, Camden and Carter Hudson; his sisters, Kay Zook of Cedar Rapids and Sheryl Matus of Central City, IA; and his brother-in-law Rod Chase (Kerry) of Creston.
