He was predeceased by: his parents, Julius Sorum and Martha Sorum (Halverson); his wife Judy; and his great grandchild Iva Lea. He is survived by: his daughters, Deb Hamilton of Atkins, Kathy Schmidt (Kelly) of Springville, Annie Young (J. T.) of Virginia Beach and Karen Frese (Glen) of Atkins; his sister Delores Johnson of Waukon; and his sisters-in-law, Mary Brandt of Atkins, Sarah Drew of Cedar Rapids and Kate Urell of Waukon. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.
