It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ida Strunk in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, who passed away on June 11, 2025, at the age of 109, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Otto Trimpe and Rosina Trimpe (Von Ahsen); her husband Richard Strunk; and her siblings, Arnold Trimpe, Alfred Trimpe, Raymond Trimpe, Paul Trimpe, Ruth Koehn, Edna Wetjen, Lorena Moennich, Esther Huedepohl, Luella Barnes and Viola Lemon.
She is survived by: her sister-in-law Esther Sandersfeld. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be given to the Lutheran Interparish School or the Church of God for the Deaf.
