He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Abraham, Beatriz Martinez, Jim, Sally Rife and Esperanza; his aunts and uncles, Manuel, Teresa, Senorina, Ramiro, Fidelina, Mary and Tamara; and his pet Luca.
He is survived by: his father Ismael "Mike" Martinez; his sisters, Rina Bates (Eric) of Galva, IL and Rosy White (Jeremiah) of Cedar Rapids; his nieces and nephews, Dominic, Josephine, Oliver White of Cedar Rapids, Victoria and Elaina Bates of Galva; his girlfriend Tracie Graham; his pet Oscar; his siblings, Rafael, Elizabeth, Edy, Manny and Omar; his sister-in-law Nicole Derby; and his mother Cheryl Rife Martinez of Cedar Rapids. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.
