He was predeceased by: his brother Clifford; and his parents, John Bartlett and Gladys Bartlett (Furness). He is survived by: his daughters, Karen Anderson (Dan) of Mankato and Connie Kalina (Mike) of Cedar Rapids; his siblings, Paul (Connie) of Missouri and Luanne Linke (Gayle) of Texas; his sister-in-law Carol; his grandchildren, Rachel (Josh), Matthew (Amy), Stephanie (Alex), Tyler (Kate) and Macy; his great grandchildren, Bennett and Lily; and his wife Elizabeth K. Templeman of Cedar Rapids.
