He was predeceased by: his father Leo Lewis Fitzpatrick; and his grandson Drew Patrick DiDonato. He is survived by: his wife Anne Marie Penne; his children, Jennifer Fitzpatrick of Cedar Rapids, Jamie Campbell (Mike) of Sussex, WI and James "Jim" Fitzpatrick (Krystal) of Cedar Rapids; his grandchildren, Jacob Canby, Katelyn Nikolaev (Dimitry), Elli DiDonato, Raelynn Fitzpatrick and Thomas James "T. J." Fitzpatrick; his mother Elizabeth "Betty" Fitzpatrick; his sister Michelle Hummell (Kurt); his aunt Shirley A. May; and his uncle Don L. (Lola) of Cedar Rapids. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
