He was predeceased by: his grandfathers, Horace Woody (Louise) and Dr. Paul James Renz (MaryAnna). He is survived by: his parents, Dr. P. James Renz, Jr. (Linda) of Venice, FL and Linda Renz (Woody); his daughters, Madison Renz of Des Moines, IA and Megan Renz of Cedar Rapids, IA; the mother of his children Carol Theiss (Renz); his fiancée Jenna Winkie of Cedar Rapids, IA; his sister Julie Sperring (Jeff) of Fishers, IN; and his niece Ally Sperring of Wisconsin.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his name to the Helen G. Nassif Cancer Center and or to the Last Hope Animal Rescue.
