With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Janet Lee Trotter of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, who passed away on July 11, 2025 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Janet Lee has departed this earthly realm, her legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May her spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lyle Reetz and Elma Reetz (Kujawa). She is survived by: her husband Dick Trotter; her daughters, Lori Gaab (Dan) of Galena and Sallie Entwistle of Lone Tree, Colorado; and her grandchildren, Michael, Daniel, Nicholas, Tiffany, Cameron and Colton. She is also survived by many great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Westminster Presbyterian Church in her honor.
