It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janette Gorman of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, who passed away on July 14, 2025, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Janette Gorman to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her father John Palumbo; and her husband Phil Gorman. She is survived by: her sons, Daniel (Danielle) of Phoenix, Arizona, Thomas (Julia) of Washington, D. C. and Matthew of Cedar Rapids; her mother Judy Palumbo-Sherman of Cedar Rapids; her sibling's children, Andrea McDowell (Rod), Zach Svoboda (Amanda), Stephanie Mizell (Jake), Shelby Green (Michael) and Hannah McGill (Tristen); her great-nieces and great-nephews, Carson, Kroy, Maeve, Malachai, Uriah, Zion, Titus, Ori, George and Adalyn; and her pets, Jordyn, Lacy and Slim. She is also survived by her sisters and their spouses.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 20th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Cedar Memorial Park Chapel (1221 1st Ave SW, Cedar Rapids, IA 52404). A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 21st 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Faith Bible Church (1800 46th St NE, Cedar Rapids, IA 52402).
