He was predeceased by: his mother Andrea Steffensmeier (Ries); and his brother Robert Steffensmeier. He is survived by: his father Wilfred Steffensmeier of Farley, IA; his children, Andrew Steffensmeier (Kaitlyn Bastin) of Cedar Rapids, Adam Steffensmeier (Kayla) of Ames, IA and Allyson Steffensmeier of North Liberty, IA; his brothers, Jason Steffensmeier (Carmen) of Farley, IA and Joe Steffensmeier (Janette) of Coralville, IA; and his siblings' children, Jared, Cody and Sienna.
A wake will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 at 3:30 PM at the Reiff Funeral Home (330 1st Ave NW, Farley, IA 52046). Visitation will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Joseph's Catholic Church (202 2nd Ave SE, Farley, IA 52046).
