As Jeffrey departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Jeffrey. Though Jeffrey may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Gard and Martha Gard (Miller). He is survived by: his sister Polly Whitmore (Robert) of Greenville, SC; his nieces and nephews, Dr. Bob (Ruth) and Whitmore; and his cousins, Margot Hafner, Kristie Smith, Diana Meyer and Eric Santon.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 23rd 2025 from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Cedar Memorial Park Chapel (1221 1st Ave SW, Cedar Rapids, IA 52404).
