She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Dorward (Mollison) and Charles B. Dorward; her husband Fred Diers; her sister Jenetta; and her pets, Sam, Sherman and Sasha.
She is survived by: her children, Jackie Westhoff of Shellsburg, IA, Mary Caviness (Ronald) of Peoria, AZ, William Diers (Connie McCalla) of Cedar Rapids, IA and Terry Whitson (Barry) of Cedar Rapids, IA; her grandchildren, Michele Westhoff (Tarun Arora) of San Rafael, CA, Scott Westhoff (Hayley) of Chicago, IL, Kelly Hamilton (Bryan) of Roanoke, VA, Andrew Caviness of Chattanooga, TN, Lindsey Kepper (Andrew) of Northfield, MN and Charlie Diers of Iowa City, IA; her great grandchildren, Olivia, Lila Westhoff, Maddox, Caleb Hamilton, Winston Caviness, Fischer and Harlow Kepper; her niece Diana Tellier; and her pets, Trixie and Flossie.
