It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jim Edward Dean McMurray (Cedar Rapids, Iowa), born in Independence, Iowa, who passed away on September 5, 2020, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil and Mary; and his brother Vincent "Jack". He is survived by: his brothers, Vern McMurray (Cathy) and John McMurray (Melissa); and his children, Jennifer Dezaiffe (Mike), Shane McMurray, Stacie Ledford, Brian McMurray (Sarah), Becky Frank, Donnie Frank, Cindy Frank, Chris Bradley and Danielle Baker. He is also survived by 30 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and several cousins, niece and nephews.
