We announce the death of Jimmie Lee Blad (Cedar Rapids, Iowa), who passed away on July 15, 2026, at the age of 83. He was predeceased by: his parents, Alden Blad and Phoebe Blad (Pattan); and his siblings, Stella, Carl (Dolores), Jean, Raymond and Leroy.
He is survived by: his wife Susan; his siblings-in-law, Jim and Kathy; his daughter Kimberly; and his grandchildren, Michaela Blad, Brandon Toomer (Vanesa), Paige Entsminger (Jesse), Riley Johnson (Scott) and Aidan. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
