She was predeceased by: her parents, Rex B. Asper and Thelma J. Asper (Hoadley); and her husband Chet (Chet). She is survived by: her children, Tana Needham (Bob) and Tom Helland (Shelly); her grandchildren, Dr. Tom Needham (Chelsie), Kami Mordi (Emeka), Kelsey Needham, Erik Helland (Jenny) and Andrew Helland (Mary); her great grandchildren, Uju Mordi, June Needham, Ugo Mordi and Sutton Helland; and her brother Ray Asper (Lesley).
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 3rd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the St. Paul's United Methodist Church (1340 3rd Ave SE, Cedar Rapids, IA 52403). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Hospice of Mercy or St Paul's United Methodist Church Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery Funeral Home.
