The memory of Joanne Baack of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, who passed away on March 13, 2026 at the age of 93, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Paulsen and Velma Paulsen (Noler); her siblings, Dale Paulsen, Nora Lea Stutzman, Kenneth Paulsen and Robert Paulsen; her brothers-in-law, Neal Sell and Clair Stutzman; and her granddaughter Rebekah Baack.

She is survived by: her children, Jerry Baack (Linda) of Evansville, Debra Krugler (James) of Morris and Sandra Kiracofe (Craig) of Swisher, Iowa.; her sister Carol Sell; and her sisters-in-law, Alice Armstrong, Joyce Paulsen and Rose Paulsen. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church, Cedar Rapids or the Dennis & Donna Oldorf Hospice House of Mercy, Hiawatha.
