We are sad to announce that, on July 31, 2025, at the age of 93, Joanne M. Thinnes (Cedar Rapids, Iowa) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas J. Ryder and Edith Julia Ryder (Wurst). She is survived by: her children, Bill Thinnes (Teresa), Paula Way (Dan), David Thinnes (Karen), Laura Frissell (Bill), Mari Culver (Chet) and John Thinnes (Tricia); her grandchildren, Connor, Nora Thinnes and Drs; her husband Bill; and her siblings, Bill, Tom Ryder and Nancy Huss.
Memorials in Joanne's memory may be directed to either St. Joseph Catholic Church or Mercy Hospice.
