It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Clifford McCord of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, who passed away on October 7, 2022, at the age of 58, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Waylon McCord and Gloria McCord (Arthur); his brothers, Waylon McCord Jr. and Glen McCord; and his nephew Jeffery McCord.
He is survived by: his wife Amy McCune; his siblings, Sharon Schanbacher of Cedar Rapids and Douglas McCord of Orlando, Florida; and his nieces and nephews, Angela Klein (Lonnie) of Palo, Bonnie Seely of Cedar Rapids, Joanna Schanbacher of Cedar Rapids, Todd Schanbacher of Madison, Kim Stark of California, Matthew McCord of Iowa City and Leah Nobling (Jimmy) of Orlando.
A memorial fund in John's name has been established.
