He was predeceased by : his parents, John Kuhn and Nellie Webber Kuhn. He is survived by : his wife Connie Takes; and his children, Mark Kuhn of Cedar Rapids, John Kuhn of Marion and Mary Kuhn Hanlon of Prosser, WA. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; and 8 great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Sunday, May 5th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM, on Monday, May 6th 2024 from 4:30 PM to 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, May 7th 2024 at 9:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Monday, May 6th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Jude Catholic Church (50 Edgewood Rd NW, Cedar Rapids, IA 52405).
