He was predeceased by: his wife Greta Lee Hanson; his father John Sr. Louise; his sister Janet; his sister-in-law Linda; his grandson Christopher; and his mother Mary Louise Van Fleet.
He is survived by: his children, Steven Van Fleet (Gigi) of Cedar Rapids, Terri Jendra (Rick) of Chicago and Michele Blaylock (Bret) of Cedar Rapids; his grandchildren, Jason Finney, Lindsay Hernandez and Jonathon Van Fleet; and his siblings, Dyle, Rosie and Pat.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 4th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Cedar Memorial Chapel of Memories Stateroom. A funeral service will be held on Monday, May 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Cedar Memorial Chapel of Memories.
In lieu of flowers, our family is requesting that any donations be made out the Van Fleet family so we may make a gift to the Hospice Foundation and Meth-Wick which took such good care of both our parents above and beyond the call of duty.
