She was predeceased by: her parents, Peter Schulmeister and Alice Schulmeister of Oelwein, Iowa.; and her sister Janice Shepherd. She is survived by: her husband Jamie L. Bruce; her children, Jamie Bruce (Deanna), Carrie Steadman (Jeff) and Heather Long (Tyson); her sisters, JoAnn Sherwood, Janette Simpson and Julie Johnson; her stepchildren, James Bruce (Pam), Robert Bruce and Jenine McKinney; her grandchildren, Kristine, Hunter, Emma, Tylee, Kamryn, Samantha, Tristen, Jenna, Evan, Jon, Kathy and Jessica; and her great grandchild Elaine.
