In the sacred silence of farewell, Joyce is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Joyce's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry John and Dorothea Margaretha Sauer (Kutter); and her brother Wayne Sauer. She is survived by: her husband Dean Hoobler of Cedar Rapids; and her daughters, Cindy Sue Forstrom (Mark) of Cedar Rapids and Jana Kay Hoobler. She is also survived by six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Cornerstone Church (925 Blairs Ferry Rd, Marion, IA 52302). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the New Michigan Cemetery.
