She was predeceased by: her father Alvin Chesley. She is survived by: her mother June Chesley; her husband Dave Baumgarten; her siblings, Allen Chesley (Kathy), Valarie Reilly (Stephen), Rhonda Chesley and Arlyn Chesley (Sandra); and her daughters, Amber Carver, Jennie Callanan, Jessica McGraw (Josh) and Alyssa Farber. She is also survived by seven grandchildren.
Family and friends are welcome to join, and the family is asking that flowers not be sent instead they would like a donation to be made in Joyce's name to Iowa C.O.P.S. Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Cedar Rapids is assisting the family.
