She was predeceased by: her parents, Basil Slaton and Nellie Slaton (Luttrell); her husband Scott Phillips; her siblings, Earl Slaton, Bobbie Slaton and Donnie Slaton; her in-laws, Dick and Luanne Phillips; and her siblings-in-law, Dot Slaton, Don Finn and Chuck Church.
She is survived by: her sons, Eric Phillips (Stephanie) of Solon and Thad Phillips (Erin) of Lovilia, Iowa; her grandchildren, Stephen, Noah, Sophia Grace, Isaac, Quinlin, Emmett, Rylee and Olivia; and her siblings, Wanda Church, Gail Finn, Carol Slaton (Sherry), Pam Slaton, Betty Slaton and Nick Phillips (Carol). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, May 30th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Church (310 5th St SE, Cedar Rapids, IA 52401). A funeral service was held on Friday, May 30th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
