She was predeceased by: her parents, Wencil Bena and Carrie Bena (Christle); her husband Frank M. Hulshizer; her brothers, Leo (Dorothy) and Ernest Bena (Rose); and her nephew Robert Bena.
She is survived by: her children, Frank M. Hulshizer, Jr. (Susan) and Victoria J. Hulshizer Oakley (William); her grandchildren, Janet Henry (Doug), Christopher Oakley, Brande Hulshizer (Russell Thier) and Britney; her stepgrandson Brent Martwig; her goddaughter Kimberly Murdoch (John); and her caregivers, Karen, Kay Linn and Aleighia. She is also survived by three great grandsons; four great granddaughters; two step great grandsons and soon one step great granddaughter.
