She was predeceased by: her parents, Darrell Adams and Rita Adams (Dalen); her brother Larry; and her close friend Nancy Myers. She is survived by: her husband Dennis Childs of Cedar Rapids; her sons, Rick Childs (Heidi) of Solon and Jamie Childs (Heather) of Cedar Rapids; her grandchildren, Jordan Childs-Brandenburg (Kyle) of Cedar Rapids, Brandan Childs (Alexis) of Des Moines, Bailey Childs (Mason) of Des Moines, Cameron Childs and Emma Childs; her siblings, Dave Adams (Liz) of Cedar Rapids and Kathy Kamoss (Steve) of Strawberry Point, Iowa; her siblings-in-law, Carol Adams of Cedar Rapids, Duane Childs (Emily) and Don Childs (Susie); and her great grandchild Maverick. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins; as well as great-grand puppies.
