It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Karen M. Peshel of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, who passed away on August 14, 2022, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald Petersen and Ethel Petersen (Dengler); her husband Herbert Dean Peshel; her brothers, Dale and Craig Petersen; and her son-in-law Charles V. Kaska.
She is survived by: her daughters, Jennifer Kaska of Cedar Rapids and Lillie Peshel of Cedar Rapids; her sisters-in-law, Pam Petersen of Vinton, Iowa and Andrea Petersen of Vinton, Iowa; and her parents-in-law, Lois Johnson of Waterloo, Sharon Brooks (Dennis), Larry Peshel of Garwin and Karen Speicher (Duane) of Cedar Rapids. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews; and many friends.
