It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kathleen Hawkins of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on October 13, 2022, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Foster and Betty Foster (Andrews); her husband Lee Hawkins; her sister Margaret "Peg" Foster; her son-in-law Brian Bernard; and her brothers-in-law, John "Jack" Sanford and Joe Dilibert.

She is survived by: her children, Leland Foster Hawkins (Nancy) of Denver, CO and Sarah Benesh (Mark) of Mount Vernon, IA; her grandchildren, McKenna Bernard (Max), Thomas Bernard (Sydney), Olivia Hawkins and Emily Benesh; and her sisters-in-law, Elizabeth Dilibert of Somis, CA and Adeline Sanford of San Diego, CA. She is also survived by loving family members and friends.
