He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles "Chuck" Stastny and Edna Stastny (Rotter); his son Jeffery; his sister Diane Brown (Gary); and his parents-in-law, Bruce and Vivian Eckert.
He is survived by: his wife Diane Eckert; his children, Jim Stastny (Yvonne), Dan Stastny (Stacy) and Dawn Stastny; his grandchildren, Andrew Stastny (Maddie), Brianna Stastny, Abbi Stastny, Kaitlyn Alger (Jesse) and Isabella Stastny; and his great grandchildren, Jaeda, Hudson and Easton.
