It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Kenneth Wayne Techau of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, who passed away on March 3, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Elmer Techau and Helen Techau (Gerber); and his siblings, Jack Techau, Nancy Techau and Donna Cusher.

He is survived by : his former life partner Beverly Maxson; his wife Jacqueline Hegwood; his children, Kevin Techau (Stephanie) of Cedar Rapids and Lisa Welsh (Patrick) of Cedar Rapids; his grandchildren, Maxson, Grace Techau, Jenna Jandik (Cody) and Shaun Welsh; his great grandchildren, Griffin and Breccan Jandik; his sister Linda Rasavong of Cedar Falls; and his siblings-in-law, Ed Cusher of Waterloo and Pat Small of California. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
