She was predeceased by: her husband Dick (Dick); her parents, Janice Poppert and Ralph Poppert; and her sister Jennifer Martinez (Poppert). She is survived by: her brothers, Tim Poppert and Rick Poppert (Arlene); her niece Becky Goodrich; her great-nieces and great-nephews, Jocelyn, Luke, Theo and Penny; her nephews, Adam Goble (Michelle), Ben Goble (Angie), Nick Goble, Marcus Martinez (Amy) and Zach Martinez; and her niece Meghan (Martinez) Roeser (Ryan).

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Kerry Jo's name to the Animal Rescue League of Iowa.
