He was predeceased by: his sister Deanna Holsinger. He is survived by: his children, Jakob, Kade and Karleigh Peters; his siblings, Lisa Holten (Jeff), Lorene Spencer (Tom) of Vinton and Mark Peters (Jacqueline) of Montana; his brother-in-law Brad Holsinger of Walker; and his parents, Charles "Pete" Peters and Carol Weber Peters. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and extended family.

Instead of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Kurt's name.
