He was predeceased by: his parents, Ethel Humbert (Meinert) and Fay Hillis Humbert; and his son Mike Humbert. He is survived by: his wife Karen Humbert; his children, Ron Humbert, Scott Prandy (Karen), Kalvin Prandy (Mary), Tammy Etscheidt (Bill), Laurie Roth (Mark) and Dawn Pulford (Chris); his sister Susan Schirm; and his daughter-in-law LaGay. He is also survived by nineteen grandchildren, twenty-nine great grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren.
