With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Larry Hamlett of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 14, 2025 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Bruce Hamlett. He is survived by: his mother Bernadine Hamlett (Heddinger) of Manchester, Iowa; his wife Linda Hamlett of Cedar Rapids; his son David Hamlett (Dee) of Cedar Rapids; his grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Andrew and Caden Hamlett; his sisters, Darla Kelly (David) of Waterloo, Cheryl Holtz (Don) of Manchester and Kathy Simon (Mike) of Verona, Wisconsin; his former wife Theresa Hamlett of Cedar Rapids; and also Richard Petruso (Wendy).
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service (520 Wilson Ave SW, Cedar Rapids, IA 52404). A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
