It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Larry Lee Statler of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, born in Washington, Iowa, who passed away on September 4, 2022, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Statler and Esther Statler (Parcell); and his brothers, George and Ronald Statler. He is survived by: his wife Janice Edwards of Cedar Rapids; his children, Kirk Statler (Tonya) of Cedar Rapids, Angie Serbousek (John) of Swisher and Kent Statler (Julie) of Solon; his grandchildren, Jordan, Hannah, Abby, Lindsey, Sarah, Andrew, Jessica, Benjamin and Joshua; and his sister Donna Emry (Jack) of St. Louis, MO.. He is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren.
A memorial fund has been established for Hillside Wesleyan Church, 2600 1st Avenue, NW, Cedar Rapids, IA, 52405.
