Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved LaVerna Kulhavy of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, who passed away at the age of 95, on September 25, 2022. She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Stastny and Libbie Stastny (Holets); her husband William Kulhavy; her sister Bernice Merta; and her son-in-law Gary Griffith.
She is survived by: her children, Nancy Griffith of Cedar Rapids, Suzanne Woodward (Scott) of Ely, Iowa and Bill Kulhavy (Lesta) of Marion, Iowa; and her sister Betty Svoboda. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Trinity Lutheran Church or the Dennis & Donna Oldorf Hospice House of Mercy.
