It is with great sadness that we announce the death of LaVonne Furman of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, who passed away on November 2, 2022, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of LaVonne Furman to pay them a last tribute.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Louis Hanson and Emma Hanson (Kretchmar); her former husband Floyd Weis; her children, Terry Weis of Cedar Rapids, Lorri Hughes of Palo and Julli Thomas (John) of Marion; her husband Walter H. Furman; her sons, Danny Furman (Kathleen) of Marion and Walter Furman II of Hawaii; and her grandchildren, Tracy Hughes, Jessica Chensvold, Jacob Thomas, Grant Furman, Rachel Waters, Michael Weis, McKayla Elston and Shannan Hughes. She was also cherished by twelve great-grandchildren.
