She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Tischer and Anna Tischer Laker (Nelson); her siblings, Rosemary Tischer, Carol Robertson, Harold "Billy" Tischer, Joanne Kelly (Harlan "Buck") and Mary Grimm (Keith); and her grandson Aaron Mendenhall.
She is survived by: her husband Ronald Ottaway; her children, Ron Ottaway, Jr. (Eilin), Dan Ottaway (Pam), Teresa Kleinmeyer (Danny), Laure Mendenhall (Loren), Tim Ottaway (Sherry) and Patty Ottaway Watts (Chris); and her brother Robert "Bob" Tischer. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to St. Matthew Catholic Church.
