He was predeceased by: his parents, Irvin Burkle and Josephine Burkle (Westermeier). He is survived by: his wife Karen Laughridge; his sons, Kevin and Kent; his stepson Scott Novotny (Dana); and his sister Phyllis Gansmer. He is also survived by 3 granddaughters; 5 grandsons.
