He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ernest Runge and Esther Runge of Spring Fountain, Iowa.; his wife Betty; his sister Ruth Runge-Barnes of Salida, CO; his children, Brian Runge (Jill) of Houston, TX and Gail White (Rob) of Ames; and his grandchildren, Joel Runge (Amanda), Lacy White (Jerry Weuve), Aaron Runge (Nalani) and Caleb Runge (Megan). He was also cherished by 10 great-grandchildren.
Leo and Betty have requested that memorials be given to Memorial Lutheran Church in Nevada, Iowa.
