We are sad to announce that on April 20, 2022, at the age of 102, Leona Mary Samek of Cedar Rapids, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her children, Gary A. Samek (Eileen) and Renee M. Kubik (Kevin); her grandsons, Brian Samek, Kory Kubik and Sean Kubik (Shelby); her great grandchildren, Grant Kubik and Kennedy Kubik; her husband Leo; her brother Emil Novak; and her father Emil C. Novak.
