She was predeceased by: her parents, Dearld O'Brien (Obie) and Vivian O'Brien (Sam Vesey); her siblings, Juanita Benishek, Dennis O'Brien and Michael O'Brien; and her siblings' children, Darold Ortberg, Duane Ortberg (Ginni), Dean Ortberg, David Ortberg-Mandel and Shelley Peterson (O'Brien).
She is survived by: her daughters, Diane Lehner (Chris) of Cedar Rapids and Denise Brotherton of North Liberty; her grandsons, Nicholas and Kirk; her great grandchildren, Silas, Madaline and Eli; her sibling's children, Douglas Mandel and Dana Butschi (Brad); and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Kendall McFarland (Jay) and Linda.
