He was predeceased by: his parents, Emil Mallie and Ada Mallie (Sproston); his wife Doris Chapin; his son Steven; his granddaughter Amanda; and his siblings, Marvin (Stella) and Mildred Meeks.
He is survived by: his children, Wayne Mallie (Ann) of Robins and Carol Feldmann (Marty) of Cedar Rapids; his grandchildren, Sara Mallie (Owen Mattison), Nicole Weir (Jay), Kristin Phillippe and Andrew Hansen; his great grandchildren, Aiden Hansen, Brennen Phillippe, Joseph Hansen, Tanner Phillippe and Kinsley Weir; and his sisters-in-law, Beth Lovejoy and Mary Lee Chapin. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Memorials are suggested to the Hospice House of Mercy.
