With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Loretta Higham of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, who passed away on March 19, 2026 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Loretta shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Loretta farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Hoffman and Anna Hoffman; her daughters, Carrie Higham and Kimberly Allgood (Steven); her brother Frank Hoffman; and the father of her children Ronald Higham.
She is survived by: her friend Loretta; her children, Victoria and Bradley Higham of Cedar Rapids; and her son-in-law Steven Allgood (Christy Keyes).
