Keiner (Wessel); her husband Lee Tyler Freerking; and her siblings, Ed Keiner (Mary), Viola Malone (Lewis), Leona Peterson (Otto), Arlene Thomsen (Paul), Helen Adams (Larry), Berniece Thomsen (Fritz), Donald Keiner (Marcella "Sal") and Norman Keiner.

She is survived by: her children, Russell Freerking (Marie) of Decorah and Rita Pierson (Doug) of Cedar Rapids; her grandchildren, Brian Freerking of Rice, Sara Jacobmeyer Pinkham (Beau) of Iowa City and Claire Quelle of Cedar Falls; her stepgrandchildren, Rebekah Pierson of Springfield, Daniel Pierson of Des Moines and Andrew Pierson (Brandy); and her sister-in-law Marilyn Keiner of Lincoln, Nebraska. She is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
