She is survived by: her husband David Sanders of Cedar Rapids; her children, Michael Sanders (Rebecca) of Cedar Rapids and Emily Pitts (Keith) of Delhi; her grandchildren, Katie Schwers (Dylan), Jacob Sanders, Jamiesha, Jamie and Chloe Pitts; her brothers, Gary Bergen (Karen) of Waterloo and Daniel Bergen (Jan) of Warren, Michigan; her uncle Jack Mussett (Judy) of Waterloo; and her siblings-in-law, Mavis Sanders of Winfield, Illinois, Alice Hamilton (Thomas) of Greenfield, Wisconsin, Dr. Susan McClure (Jim) of Tucson, Arizona, JoAnn Sanders of Savage, Minnesota, Hal Sanders of Brooklyn Park, Minnesota, Dr. Paul Sanders (Gretchen) of Cambridge, Minnesota, Rev. John Sanders (Delores) of Redondo Beach, California and Tom Sanders (Marianne) of Minneapolis, Minnesota. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
